Long Description:

As tens of millions of Americans are living longer lives, longevity is creating challenges for everyone, including hearing care professionals. Centered on the human need to connect with others, this course addresses the specific communication challenges of an aging population, and how hearing care professionals can more effectively address their communication and quality of life needs. Participants will be offered options to develop a clinical strategy targeted at persons with hearing loss and their companions, and how the next generation of technology will further address the challenges of aging and provide more successful human connections
