Short Description

Conventional wisdom suggests that access and affordability are the two key drivers of poor hearing aid uptake. Using recently published survey data of consumers and medical gatekeepers, this course offers a more comprehensive view of low hearing aid updates with consumer apathy and indifference at its core.  Over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids and various pathways to care are positioned as tools that promote early intervention and promote patient engagement at an earlier stage.
